Barrio Chino

So I have been neglecting you, I know buuuut... there is a good excuse;I have been so busy. I am here now, though and let me show you a place I discovered a little while ago...

Everyone loves a good taco and when you add a gourmet factor, it's even better. Meet Barrio Chino.
In the heart of Kings Cross, Barrio is sure to get your taste buds dancing the salsa in your mouth.

I grabbed a girlfriend and we enjoyed a good gossip session over bite sized chicken and beef tacos, spicy Mexican rice and cold sangria, whilst hip music tracks played in the background. Perfect for a Sunday evening catch up. But make sure you show up early or make a booking because they do get busy over dinner.

We walked out of here, hand-on-tummy from being so full, but well worth the struggle, walking. Give it a try, it will not disappoint.

Golden Century

Ok, so this has got to be my favourite Chinese restaurant.
It's clean, it's cosy, it's location is convenient and it's DELICIOUS. REALLY delicious. But BEWARE; it's not your typical run-of-the-mill Chinese joint. GOLDEN CENTURY is open till all hours of the a.m. and is stocked with it's very own fresh seafood. Tanks filled with crab, lobsters and other fugly sea creatures, straight to your plate.
In the heart of China Town, lies this little gem.

But the real reason I go there, is for the peking duck pancakes. Mhm, if you have not tried these, you have NOT lived.

San choy bow, peking duck and Chinese tea makes for very happy tummy!

Talks from Down Under

A place to show off, the beauty of the greatest city in the world. This is Sydney.

For those of you, who are unaware (and you'd have to be living under a rock for the longest time), Sydney is in Australia. Away from everything and everyone, in a continent of it's own. We like it, here, we call it Down Under. And quiet frankly, I couldn't think of a better place to be.

Let me show you, all sorts of treasures this city has hidden...

The future belongs to...
